Soar-Kenya is setting a new goal to raise enough money for a new boys latrine. We have raised enough money to purchase the land for the kitchen. Ruth and Steve Gibb’s along with the help of their church,St. Mary’s at Pardeeville raised enough money to do a very basic cement block building for a new kitchen. Ruth and Steve along with friends, Charlie Fredricks, his parents and Stan and Jan did it again when they hosted the first brat fest stand of the season at Nord Gear. They raised another 500.00 to put toward the kitchen. We hope the foundation is being laid right now. Thanks for all the hard work. We never rest for long as a new latrine is really needed. We don’t ever want to see a near disaster like this photo again. The cost is app. 800.00.
| Hi Mary, hope you are doing fine as l m.l have missed your words, your trees in Hopewell are doing fine.Although no rains we try to them regurarly so they don’t dry up.If i had a camera i could have taken some photos from the flowers we planted for you see the way they are very beautiful everybody admires them.We assisted our parents to plant during the April holiday when we experienced little rains and now are gone, but we hope they come back.In Hopewell we are enjoying the vegetables Mr.Don told he was going to plant for us,we realy are really thankful.I got my picture taken while we planting trees at the nursury grounds, but unffortunatelly they were eaten by the hungry cows which were passing near,i was planingn to buy some to replace using the money you sent to me[Ksh.500]but i had no more to pay the fees so,i was broke, may be i will get some and do my will.Any thank you very much for personally remembering me God bless you.I can’t forget to wish you a happy mother’s day 2009[new year’s day is every man’s birthday. And please don’t forget to greet Mary Anne, tell her i miss her at list to say a word to know she is still there.Greet Mr Don,thank’s for you attention, see you. |
