Chicken project–WOW!!!!!

I do not know how to thank someone who in one week-end has really made an incredible difference in the lives of so many. Judy and Dale have just secured the money needed to do a chicken project for a whole community of people. We all know the difficult financial situation this past year for so many. Judy and Dale also know how much we here in America have to be thankful for. Soar-Kenya can only say thankyou to Dale and Judy for asking their neighbors and friends, the farmers of the Sangamon Valley for their generousity. I know James and his community group will show their work and the results they will receive from the money gathered this weekend. Please read the following.
Dear Mary and James,
Dale, my husband, finished collecting the chicken money today, and his final total is $650. Which I will send to Mary in the morning.
We live in a very fertile valley, next to a river. The farmers of this valley, called Sangamon Valley, were happy to help with this chicken venture. Dale says now you are a Sangamon Valley farmer too! You are welcome to the farm familes here.
We will all be waiting with excitement to see the outcome of this venture! Maybe you can take pictures as you go along James? The farmers here would like to see how it goes. They are very interested.
There is a man at my church who is an expert on raising chickens. If you need any advice, he’ll be happy to help. If you have any questions, or troubles, let me know and I’ll ask him. He does not have a computer.
We wish you luck James. God bless you and all you do to help feed your families.
with love,

Judy

A Very Nice Thankyou.

I just could not believe the great pictures Harrison was sending. It looked like they got so much accomplished with so little money. He wrote a very nice thankyou to Don , me and to all the supporters of Soar-Kenya.Please read on ,and thankyou for your support.

Dear Mary,
What is surprising Mary? All what you see has been done by you,Don and your partners. The land, fencing, the boys house, the girls house, the caregivers house, the kitchen, the pit latrine and the water well were all funded by you.

“How in the world did you accomplish all of this?”

Through the world of Mary,Don and SK partners.

Were still need to accomplish more like the water tank, the childrens home gate, beds, plastering the houses and equiping the kitchen.

All what  surprises you are your own accomplishments.God bless you.
Harrison and Irene
